Day 2

Today we arrived at the Open Day Centre mid morning where the children were in the middle of their worship and prayer time ( no words on screen here) All the children seem to know their songs and actions and sing from the heart.  It’s amazing to see the dedication of the staff who help and work with the children to achieve so much with so little !
Lovely to see Wilmer again. It’s been 10 years since my last visit to Kanlungan.   What a fantastic job he is doing with such a passion for every aspect of the work with which he is involved.
Amazingly small classroom into which 30 children have to fit and all at different levels of ability.  Quite humbling really when you consider what we have in UK schools.
Watching children at play, again quite humbling, when you realise the small a

mount of toys they have. Ate Mary got down on her knees and taught the children how to play Jenga which they soon picked up . The children are very quick to learn.

Pray for the staff who work there every day
Who’ve devoted their lives in such special ways
Pray for the children who live on the streets
That they and their families with Jesus would meet
Pray they’ll know how much they are loved
And are special and treasured by Jesus our Lord.
Much love.  Leta xx

It is great to hear from you. Thanks for blogging, it really helps back home to pray.

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.

Hope you enjoy sharing God’s love every day of your visit.
